  The St. Patrick Catechetical Institute (SPCI) is St. Patrick Parish's faith formation program, offered as part of our RENEW initiative. Courses are offered throughout the year across four pillars — Sacraments, Practicum, Catechesis, and Initiation — and are open to all parishioners, wherever you are on your journey of faith.

- Into the Deep
  
  Beginning the summer of 2026, SPCI launches its first course — Into the Deep, a five-session series exploring the rich traditions of Christian prayer through the lives of the saints. Each session pairs a talk with practical ways to grow in your own prayer life.
  Sessions are held in the church every other Thursday beginning May 28. All are welcome — come to one session or the whole series. Complete all five and receive a certificate of completion.

  6/11 — The Hounds of God (St. Dominic & the Rosary)
  6/25 — Silence (The Carmelites & God's Indwelling)
  7/9 — The Prayer of the Church (St. Benedict & Liturgy of the Hours)
  7/23 — Contemplation in Action (St. Ignatius & Ignatian Meditation)

- Do I need to register for the course?
  No registration or RSVP is required. You are welcome to simply show up at the church on any of the scheduled session days.
- What if I miss the first session?
  You can still join us! Every session in this series is independent and self-contained. You do not need to have attended previous talks to benefit from the current one.
- Is there a cost to attend?
  There is no cost to participate in the series. It is a free offering from SPCI.
- I'm new (or renewed) to the faith. Am I still welcome?
  Absolutely. Our courses are designed for everyone—whether you are just beginning to explore your faith or have been practicing for decades. We welcome you exactly as you are, no matter where you find yourself on your journey.
- What do I get if I attend every class?
  If you attend all of the classes in a single series, you will receive a certificate of completion. If you present these certificates of completion from each class, you will receive a certification on behalf of St. Patrick Parish recognizing your efforts and capability in effectively and clearly sharing our faith in a catechetical setting.
- How many classes are there? What are they?
  There are a total of 6 classes that occur over the course of two years:

  Fall 1: The Promised Land
  Spring 1: Heretics and Heroes
  Summer 2: God's Champions
  Fall 2: Glorious Freedom
  Spring 2: To the Heights
