Mary, Mother of God (Jan. 1)
The Ascension of Jesus Christ (May 29 or transferred)
The Assumption of Mary (Aug. 15)
All Saints’ Day (Nov. 1)
The Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8)
Christmas Day (Dec. 25)
Whenever January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, or August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption, or November 1, the Solemnity of All Saints, falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated.
Sundays (including Epiphany, Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, Pentecost, Corpus Christi, etc.) are always obligatory.
