Workplace giving is one of the most cost-effective ways to support St. Patrick School—matching gifts are truly free money!
Most companies match at a 1:1 ratio—your $50 becomes $100.
Others may match at $.50 per $1 or as high as $4 per $1.
Ratios may vary depending on:
Employee type (active, retiree, etc.)
Type of organization being supported (education, arts, environment, etc.)
Companies often set:
Minimum match amounts (commonly $25–$50, sometimes as low as $1)
Maximum annual match caps ranging from $1,000 to $100,000
These limits may differ for current employees and retirees.
Deadlines vary by company. Common deadlines include:
By December 31 (end of calendar year)
3–12 months after the donation date
End of January, February, or March of the following year
Be sure to check your employer’s requirements so you don’t miss out.
