The District Free Throw Championship was held at St. Pat's on Fri, Feb. 13 at 7 PM with participants shooting 25 free throws each. 12 medals were given out to winners. Winners from St. Patrick are listed below:

Regional Champions - Saturday, February 21, 2026

The Regional Free Throw Championship was held at St. Alban Roe on Sat, Feb 21 at 1PM with participants shooting 25 free throws each. 12 medals were given out to winners. Winners from St. Patrick are listed below:

State Champions - Sunday, March 8, 2026
On Sunday, Mar. 8, winners from up to 7 regions competed at the State Free Throw Championship in Columbia, MO at Fr. Tolton Catholic High School. Each participant (grouped by gender and age from 9-14) got 5 practice shots and then 25 free throws. There were three winners from the Council Free Throw Championship at St. Patrick back in January that competed at state. 

• 9 yrs: Aubrey Hoff (G) - 1st Place
• 10 yrs: Madden Smith (B) - 4th Place
• 11 yrs: Kensi McDowell (G), Kade McDowell (B) - 3rd Place

Congratulations to all participants, and a special shoutout to those who placed! The top 3 in each group will be mailed a tumbler of various sizes (depending on their podium finish) with their name engraved. Next year's local free throw will be on Friday, January 22, 2027 at St. Patrick.
