A journey of healing and renewal through the trials of love and loss.

My wife and I were both baptized Catholic and went to church occasionally throughout our lives, but faith wasn’t always at the center of our relationship. We’ve been together for 26 years and will celebrate 19 years of marriage on November 3.
About a year and a half ago, our marriage reached a breaking point. We separated, and it seemed like divorce was inevitable. I was heartbroken, lost, and struggling deeply. Then, about seven months into our separation, I received a call that my father had passed away unexpectedly. I was devastated.
At that moment, I was staying with my mother and stepfather, and when I got the news, I immediately called my wife. Without hesitation, she came straight to be by my side. Shortly after that, my mom and stepdad left for a three-month vacation, and I didn’t want to be alone. I asked my wife if I could stay at our house for a while, and she agreed.
During that time, something incredible began to happen. We started going to church every week, and through that, God began to heal us. It was as if He wrapped His arms around us and said, “I’m not done with you yet.”
God intervened when we needed Him most. He softened our hearts, restored our marriage, and renewed our faith. Today, I can honestly say my life is so much better because I fully surrendered to God.
I thank Him every day for His grace, His love, and the many blessings He has given me. All the glory goes to God.
