At St. Patrick, we believe every person is on a journey of faith. No matter where you begin, God is always inviting you closer to Him. Our discipleship pathway gives us a simple way to understand that journey and to ask a very important question:
“Where am I right now?”
Take a moment to reflect on each step below. Which one best describes your current stage?

1. BeholdEncountering christ

A moment of encounter with God that awakens something new in us.
Acts 2:37: "When they heard this, they were cut to the heart."
Ask yourself:
- Am I curious about Jesus?
- Have I experienced Christ breaking through in my life?
- Do I feel a stirring that there's something more?
Next steps:- Attend Mass and parish events.
- Explore resources like Catholicism 101 to learn more about the faith.
- Join us for Encounter on the first Thursday of the month from 7:00-8:30pm.
- Attend a parish retreat, like the RENEW men's or women's retreat.

2. Belongconnecting with the community

Finding connection in the parish community and knowing you are part of God's family.
Acts 4:32: "The community of believers was of one heart and mind."
Ask yourself:
- Am I looking for ways to get involved and grow in relationship with others?
- Do my friendships and other relationships lead me closer to Jesus or farther from Him?
Next steps:- Reach out to our ministry staff to join one of our RENEW discipleship groups.
- Try out another parish ministry or prayer group.
- Attend parish gatherings to build friendships in faith.
- Visit our parish Eucharistic Adoration chapel and pray. Contact the parish office for the chapel code.

3. BelieveDeepening Faith and Understanding

Growing in trust, conviction, and understanding of the faith, learning to live it daily.
John 2:17: "Zeal for Your house will consume me."
Ask yourself:
- Am I convicted of the truth of the Gospel?
- Am I learning to pray, study Scripture, and apply my faith in my daily life?
Next steps:- Attend faith formation opportunities like those offered through the St. Patrick Catechetical Institute.
- Set aside time each day for personal prayer and Scripture reading.
- Make use of parish resources like FORMED to grow in your faith and learn what the Church teaches.
- Participate in free online resources like the Bible in a Year or Catechism in a Year podcasts, the Hallow app, or Word on Fire publications.

4. BecomeLiving as a Missionary Disciple of jesus

Living in communion with Christ and helping draw others to Him.
Matthew 4:19: "Come after me, and I will make you fishers of me."Ask yourself:
- Am I living my faith outwardly and joyfully?
- Do I share my faith with others and invite them into this journey?
Next steps:- Reserve a regular Holy Hour in Eucharistic Adoration through the parish office.
- Serve in parish ministries or outreach efforts.
- Consider reaching out to our ministry team to serve as a leader in our RENEW initiative or another ministry.
